Due to extreme fire dangers, very few fireworks shows are planned across Northern Arizona this year. Flagstaff, Prescott Valley, Prescott, Chino Valley, Show Low and others have cancelled shows due to the ongoing drought and bone-dry forests and prairies. Cottonwood still plans to conduct its fireworks show – however they will be much smaller than normal. Winslow’s fireworks show is still being planned as well as Twin Arrows Resort Casino, who will have their fireworks show tonight at 9 PM. If you attend the Winslow fireworks show, just head over to the high school football field where they will have vendors set up as well.
The Continental Country Club will have their “Lights on the Lawn” celebration today from 3-10 pm located at 2380 North Oakmont Drive in Flagstaff.
